Terms and Conditions (GTC)

The services of GREATDAYZ KARPATHOS depend on the weather conditions and the availability of the equipment.
The price list is in euros and can be changed by us at any time.
All prices include all taxes - excluding surcharges for credit card payments on site.

Payment terms:

Early Booking Campaigns: The services booked must be paid 100% into our account on the invoice date = due date.

After receipt of payment on our account, the booking is considered confirmed.

The payment receipt is considered a voucher on site to use the booked services and must be shown on the spot when the services are started.
Standard Bookings: The reservation of booked services is deemed confirmed after receipt of a 50% down payment of the booked services.
The remaining payment of the booked service must be transferred in full to our account 4 weeks before the start of the trip.

The full payment receipt (down payment / final payment) of the booked service is valid as a VOUCHER on site in order to use the booked services.
All services booked with Greatdayz Karpathos must be paid in full before they start and must be proven by the customer (VOUCHER). Services that are not fully paid for will not be recognized by Greatdayz Karpathos as VOUCHER!
Cancellation Conditions:
Cancellations on our part - booked services can be canceled by us at the station, by email or phone within 24 hours. Any payments made will be 100% refunded.
The following conditions apply to services booked for cancellations:
The following conditions apply to any justified or unjustified cancellation or non-appearance on the agreed date:
80% refund in the event of cancellation 14 days after the deposit has been paid or the invoice has been paid for early booking campaigns.
50% refund if canceled between the 60th and 30th day before arrival.
20% refund if canceled between 29th and 8th day before arrival.
0% refund if canceled from the 7th day before arrival

Registration and Termination of the Contract

A student must be in good health. He must be able to swim without support for at least 30 minutes. The kite / windsurf instructor can suspend a student from the course if he behaves dangerously or disturbs the course. In this case, GREATDAYZ or its partners will not refund any money.
Disclaimer of Liability
GREATDAYZ assumes no responsibility for damage to property or personal injury of any kind. It is also not responsible for loss, damage, theft or vandalism. This regulation also applies to the storage and transport of guest equipment.
Safety Rules
The beneficiary must follow all instructions given by the GREATDAYZ employees and its partners and their employees, provided that no other person is injured or unlawful acts are requested. He / she must comply with international right of way. Any kind of water sport is not permitted in the bathing area and in the harbor entrances. Every kite / windsurfer must keep a safe distance of at least 50 meters from others, especially beginners. Jumping with a kite 50 meters or less from the beach is prohibited. The lifeboat only drives in deep water outside the reefs. Violations of these rules entitle GREATDAYZ and its partners to terminate this contract without any right to a refund.
VDWS Standard Courses - all Courses follows VDWS Rules
Usually, a kite / windsurfing lesson begins on the first day booked between 9.45 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. If the practical part of the course cannot take place due to too much (> 35 knots) or too little (<8 knots) or unreliable and gusty wind, the course will be postponed first, or if this is not possible, it will be replaced by a voucher replaced with the residual value of the service. GREATDAYZ and its partners are not obliged to reimburse the course fee if a customer wishes to finish the course for personal reasons.

Rental of Kiteborarding or Windsurf Items

The tenant is obliged to return rental items 30 minutes before the seasonal closing of the station. If the tenant is unable to handle the rental property, GREATDAYZ and its partners will refuse the rental. The tenant can withdraw from the contract and withhold the rent. The tenant is liable for self-inflicted damage and must pay this himself on site. He must report any damage when the equipment is returned. The employees of GREATDAYZ and its partners regularly take care of the correct and safe condition of the rental equipment. However, the tenant is obliged to check the rental objects thoroughly before each use.
